USDA and SBA Strengthen Partnership to Grow Rural Economy

Their investments will include expanding marketing assistance and technical opportunities.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) recently announced the increase in the agencies’ partnership and investments to help grow the rural economy and create jobs.

Deputy Secretary Xochitl Torres Small said, “We are redoubling our commitment to drive economic security and prosperity for people in rural America, so they can find opportunities to succeed right in the places they call home. Strengthening our collaboration with the SBA helps us expand these opportunities for people to build brighter futures for generations to come.”

The agencies also committed “to expand opportunities for rural technical assistance providers, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and small business owners. They will also provide resources to help rural businesses compete in both domestic and international markets.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Deputy Secretary Torres Small as she collaborates with the Small Business Administration to support rural economies.
  • For Administrator Guzman as she facilitates efforts to assist rural small business endeavors.
  • For discernment for the president and his administration as they pursue domestic policies.
